Reptile Evening at 32nd Streatham!

Date: 7th Nov 2025 Author: Remy Maxwell-Thompson

Last night our Lead Volunteers visited the 32nd Streatham, to see the Cubs & Scouts reptile night. They have a long-standing partnership with Reptile Events, who bring their array of exotic animals for a presentation, followed by some time to see them up close! Reptile Events can travel to Scout groups across Lambeth, or even visit you on camp. For more information, you can visit their website: https://sites.google.com/site/rudgereptileevents/

Scouts got to continue their work on the photography badge, getting shots of the snakes, lizards, and snails (probably better than our photos!). They got to learn about snake skeletons, and the history of different snake species, while practicing different framing techniques for their pictures.

We also got the chance to deliver some awards to our leaders, who dedicate much of their own time each week to delivering activities for our young people. Thank you again to Scott, Elisa, Chloe, and Ben for having us!
