The London Scouts team would like to invite you to its Scouting Conference for Adventurous Activity Leaders!

Who? Lambeth Scouts Programme Team, Nights Away Assessors, Adventurous Activity Assessors, or anyone interested in getting involved with Adventurous Activities!
Where? The St Marylebone CE School Sixth Form, 14 Blandford Street, London W1U 4AZ
Why? To bring together the London Adventure teams from all of our Counties and Districts to share good practice, build upon what we have today and shape the Adventure Offering from London into the 2030’s.
When? Saturday 14th March 2026
Cost? Free

Dear Leaders,

I am delighted to invite you to a one day conference in London.  Adventurous Activities in the Outdoors is a central element of Scouting. This conference will bring together the London Adventure teams from all of our Counties and Districts to share good practice, build upon what we have today and shape the Adventure Offering from London into the 2030’s.

The day will include a keynote speaker who has led adventure to extreme locations.

There will also be sessions on:

• Showcasing some of our great facilities
• Providing challenging adventures safely
• Our approach to Assessing permits

We will also have discussions and break-out sessions to develop a coordinated approach across London.

When: Saturday 14th March 2026

Where: The St Marylebone CE School Sixth Form, 14 Blandford Street, London W1U 4AZ

Time: Registration from 08.45am for a 9.30am start, the day will finish by 4.30pm

Travel: The school is located in Marylebone. Parking is very limited so we suggest public transport.  The school is within easy walking distance of Baker Street or Bond Street Stations.

Dress: No need to wear a uniform, please do wear a Scout Scarf

Food: Refreshments will be available.  Lunch will be a variety of sandwiches, please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements on the booking form. We would encourage you to stay hydrated during the day, so please bring a water bottle. Water bottle refill stations will be available on site.
