Awards are used to celebrate our members, volunteers, and helpers. There are a wide range of different awards that are available, which you can find more information about below.


Scouts Good Service Awards

These are awarded by the Scout Association to full adult members, for their contribution to Scouting. They include:

  • Chief Scout’s Commendation for Good Service
  • Award for Merit
  • Bar to the Award for Merit
  • Silver Acorn
  • Bar to the Silver Acorn
  • Silver Wolf

South London Scouts Shining Star Awards

These are awarded by our County, South London Scouts, to people and groups of people whose outstanding commitment and achievements exemplify the positive impact we always strive to make within our communities.
