County Young Leader Taskforce Day 2026

I’m writing to invite you to a County Young Leaders Task Force day, which will bring together those currently delivering Young Leader training, as well as anyone interested in being involved in its development.

Lunch will be provided.

Over recent months, we’ve been reviewing how Young Leader training is delivered across South London. There is a lot of good practice already in place, and this day is intended to build on what was discussed previously, understand how things are currently being delivered in different Districts, and identify where greater consistency or support would be helpful.

The day will focus on:

• reviewing the current position across the County;

• hearing from those who deliver Young Leader training about what works well;

• outlining the resources and support available for delivery

• Looking at and exploring ways we can get young perople’s voices involved in shaping Young Leaders across South London; and

• agreeing practical next steps to strengthen and develop the Young Leader programme across South London.
