Vitality Westminster Mile 2025 – Scouts Wave
Be a Scouts champion and complete a one mile loop in front of Buckingham Palace, crossing the world famous London Marathon finishing line!
The Greater London Regional programme team have been in discussion with the London Marathon Events team and are excited to bring you, once again, the Vitality Westminster Mile – Scouts Wave 2025!
Held in the heart of London, the Vitality Westminster Mile takes place on a spectacular course that starts on The Mall and finishes in front of Buckingham Palace. The family-friendly accessible mile takes place on Saturday 27th September and is completely free for Scouting members and their families (using our link). Every participant receives a beautiful medal. You’ll also get free entry to the fantastic Vitality Wellness Festival in Green Park!

A. Greater London Scouts – Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network, Leadership Volunteers, and their families (of all ages and abilities).

A. Saturday 27th September 2025 12:55pm (you’ll need to be in place 45 minutes before).

THIS EVENT WILL SELL OUT QUICKLY – NUMBERS ARE LIMITED – PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR GROUPS / SECTIONS QUICKLY!!!
Please be aware this event is organised and run by London Marathon Events, and is a televised. Groups are individually responsible for ratio’s when booking together (see guidance in the booking form), and families are encouraged to book direct so we get even more people involved in the fun. Please be aware this is a public event and all young people should be appropriately supervised.
Once again, we have got some fun surprises planned which will make you smile! This year our Scouting cheer squad on the starting line will be from Lambeth District in South London Scouts. If you think you have what it takes to lift Scouting spirits, and join the cheer team on the starting line, please get in touch with David Liddle via davidliddle1974@gmail.com – fancy dress and loud voices mandatory! It’s going to be HUGE!
